| Notes on filling in the table: | Notes on filling the contract supplement: | ||||||||||||||||
| General notes: | |||||||||||||||||
| 1. Fixed price 1) Fixed prices should be stated only for contracts for works; costing to be done by milestones/partial acceptance | Column I shows the original contractually agreed quantity/number (from Column D) The change in the value as compared with the previous price schedule must be entered in Column J; add either ‘-’ to denote a reduction or ‘+’ to denote an increase. For example: the expert days of the team leader are to be reduced from 250 expert days to 220 expert days: -30 is entered in Column J. The new quantity to be contractually agreed is now displayed in Column K. The resulting new total remuneration for the position is calculated in Column L. | ||||||||||||||||
| 2.1 Fees – daily rate (Section 3.6.1 Terms and Conditions) 1) Expert pools are priced per category; no names of expert pools to be given (N.N. = anonymous) 2) Names of key experts in the key experts list (spreadsheet 2) | |||||||||||||||||
| 2.2 Costs related to contract in country of assignment (Section 3.6.2 of the Terms and Conditions) As of an uninterrupted stay of more than three months in the country of assignment in connection with the contract, and after receiving written confirmation from GIZ, the contractor can invoice as a per diem lump sum the costs incurred for performance of the contract at the usual place where services are provided abroad. The lump sum is paid counting from the first day of the stay relating to the contract. Assignments with a continuous duration of up to three months in the country of assignment are invoiced as business trips relating to the contract in accordance with Sections 3.6.4.2 and 3.6.4.3 of these Terms and Conditions. | |||||||||||||||||
| 5. Value-added tax Any VAT levied by a third country will be reimbursed only if and to the extent it has been specified in the price schedule (Section 3.3 of the Terms and Conditions). A ‘third country’ is any country that is neither an EU member state nor the place of supply for value-added tax (VAT) purposes (Section 1.1 of the Terms and Conditions). The tenderer must state the value-added tax rate that is relevant for the third country in question. | |||||||||||||||||
| Notes on contract supplements/amendments Additional columns have been provided in this spreadsheet for costing contract supplements (columns J-M). Click on the button above to view them automatically. These provide for entering changes in the specification of inputs, a new overall quantity and the resulting new total. Here you can calculate reductions in the quantity of individual items as well as expansions of the specification of inputs. | |||||||||||||||||
| Notes on macros in this template This file includes several VBA macro functions that are saved in the file format ‘.xlsm’. When the file/template is opened, a warning concerning this content will appear in a yellow bar above the table. You must click on ‘Enable content’ to use the buttons at the top of the sheet.
